But since Automatic Delivery relies on computer modeling estimates to determine when you are ready for a heating oil or biofuel delivery (based on your past usage and the current weather), it’s important to let us know if anything significant has changed in your home or lifestyle over the last year that will affect how much heating oil you use.
For example, please let us know if:
Someone has moved in or out of your home – particularly someone who needs more heat to be comfortable (an infant or an senior citizen, for example)
A long-term guest has arrived or left your home
You plan to take a sabbatical or extended vacation
You have added a room to your home
You have upsized any heating oil appliances
When these changes occur, we can make adjustments to your deliveries to prevent run-outs – but only if we know they happened!
